Android Stock Keyboard Issue

Ever since I upgraded to Honeycomb 3.1 on my Xoom the Backspace key on the stock keyboard can no longer be held down to erase multiple characters. Instead I must press it for each character I wish to remove.

Nothing too crazy, just a minor annoyance but, I just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced it...

Nope, no issue on my Xoom, works just fine. Actually the keyboard works a lot better than on 3.0, so there must be something up with your update, try force closing the Android Keyboard.

It isn't anything recent, it's gone on since the day I updated Honeycomb back in May. Untold resets and a clearing of the keyboards data did nothing to remedy the issue.

I figured I'd just soldier through and hope the next patch took care of it and if not I'd perform a factory reset but, I was curious if anyone else had experienced the problem.

Yeah I have same issue. Sucks pressing it a million times. But yeah. So I finally got in with the SwiftKey tablet beta. It's definitely nice. Can hold the back button down on it. Just emailed SwiftKey and they responded quickly for the beta link.
