Google Play Services Has Stopped Nexus 6p OS 7.0

Hi,

So I looked around the forums and tried what seemed like a few outdated solutions for getting ride of the "Google Play Services Has Stopped" problem.

It's happening non stop when I try to compose an email in the gmail app and hangouts has been a mess for me (constant crashing and rebooting). I'm running the latest dev preview of Android 7.0.

Anyone else having this issue or have a solution?

Thanks!

Is this the version of Google Play Services that you have? (This is from DP5.) [Hmm, Tapatalk seems to be having some issue with screenshots ATM - version is 9.4.52]

Have you tried rebooting into Safe Mode? Perhaps there's some conflict with a 3rd party app that's generating that error.

This is the version im running. Let me give safe mode a try. Once I'm in safe mode, how will i know if a 3rd party app is the issue?

I'm in safe mode and still having this issue.
Bummer; I'm going to have to vote with the previous poster - time for a Factory Reset.

You're running DP5 (NPD90G)?
Did you wipe the system cache in Recovery mode after you loaded the Android 7.0 beta? You could try that before the Factory Reset.

Welp... Carlos12001 was right! Did a full factory reset and everything is running as a Nexus should, "smooth".
