How to fix camera error on ZTE android phone "Can't connect to the camera"

When I try to open the camera app I get camera error "can't connect to the camera". I tired shutting the phone off, force quit on the app and removing the SD card.

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Safe Mode, which temporarily disables all 3rd party apps. On most Android devices, while powered on, press and hold Power until the Power Off menu appears. Press and hold the Power Off selection until the Safe Mode prompt appears. Tap OK.

If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, then something you installed is causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem disappears. If the problem persists in Safe Mode, then it's more likely to be a hardware or firmware problem.

Tried rebooting in safe mode still nothing. Also, no app or icon appear for camera.

Hello, ..i have the same problem, the phone of my sister is ZTE U791 CHINA MOVILE, and the camera now not working, the app say: "ERROR:Can't connect to the camera." ...if anyone knows how to fix this error, please, show me how...thanks.
