Let me start by saying that there are a LOT of great entries in this contest! I noticed that most of the pictures submitted so far are of buildings or trees, so I thought I'd use forced perspective to show height.

I remembered this contest right before pouring myself a drink and relaxing after what has been quite a hectic few days.

This photo was taken with my Galaxy S6, and edited on my phone using the Aviary app. (I uploaded from my laptop due to an error on the app that never allows me to upload photos from my phone, but all edits were done on my phone!)

I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season!

Taken a few years ago during a camping trip to the Grand Canyon using an HTC DNA. No apps were used for editing although I did tweak the manual settings a bit to take the pic

When making myself used to Huawei P8 Lite, I tried to photograph the oldest statue on the grounds of Roman-catholic church in our village Radošina.
Given The Statue of St. John of Nepomuk is even 126 years newer than also depicted church (re-built since) in this Western-Slovakian village near more famous spa-town Piešťany, it also reminds us that at the times these and similar memorials originate from there weren´t too much other man-made high structures in existence to look upon.
The weather was not ideal so I stacked some reduced tweaks made in Fotoxx, RawTherapee and GIMP using the latter one.
