    Hello!

So here in the Philippines, Note series goes with Exynos. A lot of reviews say the snapdragon is better.

I can get Note10+ SD version for a cheaper price around 720USD but since it's an SD, Samsung Philippines won't honor its warranty. I can get the Note 20 Ultra 5G for around 1000USD, Exynos version, which warranty will be honored.

What do you think is worth it?
If you were the one to buy, which one will you get?

Other features like camera and others dont mean much to me. I just want a future proof phone since I dont change my phone yearly or every two years.

    Thanks so much!

Me personally, I'd have to go with the one that has the warranty. Because you know, **** happens quite often... but thats just me.

I don't understand exactly what do you mean by future proof, but I can tell you that, if you are not a gamer, you won't feel any difference between the SD and Exynos. I do have the 10+, still with Android 9, and it works like new, after more than 1.5 years. I do not intend to upgrade it to a higher operating system, for the meantime, because during the years, owning a few Note phones (2, 4, 8 and 10+), I understood that the phone works best and at its highest performance only with its original operating system plus the updates of the same OS version. Newer OS versions are made usually to fit to more powerful hardware, and in consequence, your phone will be a bit slower as the version of the OS goes up.
Another thing to keep in mind is that you should expose the phone to direct and strong sunlight as less as possible. I used all my older phones for navigation, in direct strong sunlight during almost 9 month per year, not more than 1 hour per day in average, and after 2 years they became almost unsable. During those days I did not have a car with Android Auto support and I was always rush to update my phone to the latest android version.
So, in reply to your question, if you intend to keep your phone working as long as possible and if you want that your phone's original operating system will be compatible with most of the apps in the Play store, then I would recommend to buy the most recent phone model possible. If you can afford, I would go for the Note 20 Ultra, which is the latest Note available and the most powerful.
If the buget is a problem, then go for the Note 10+ which is a 2019 model and a very good and reliable phone.
I would not give up the warranty only to get the SD version.
