Has anyone figured out how to get a haptic response when using the finger print scanner on the Note 10 plus. I'm leaving my Note 8 for the 10+ and I'm so use to the haptic response you get when you press on the Note 8. It actual feels like a button even though its just the glass vibrating.

I looked and found the home keys, but not the finger print scanner...

Unfortunately nope, the option is gone. The only haptic feedback you get there is when the scan has failed or the fingerprint is not registered/recognized.

I moved this from General Help to the Note10 forum for more specific traffic.

I'm starting to feel like I am going through "Grass is Greener Syndrome" My iris scanner is gone, which also helped with membership card reader, most of the Edge apps are gone and yes I am one of the few people that still use the headphone jack. Yes the the phone has upgrades which are impressive, I just wish I didn't have to choose. I loved my Note 8, I only like this Note 10+.

Is this something that can be added with a future update?

It CAN. Whether or not the removal was intentional or just an overlooked option that gains enough traction for Samsung to notice and re-enable on a future update, well... That's another story.

Give it time and you'll become more accurate and the lack of feedback will be a non-issue. As long as your sensor isn't defective like I believe my S10 was.

I miss a lot of the Edge features too!! I thought I was the only one! I was using the Iris scanner too, in addition to the FPS on the back of my Note8. I also used my headphone jack ALOT, especially in my car because it doesn't have BT Playback, only for phone calls. And I do miss the haptic feedback. Probably because I was so used to it being a positive reinforcement, as opposed to an error.

Sensor Visible

My Note 10 Plus is fast on unlocking, as fast as the Note 9 even with the screen protector on.

Does anyone notices the sensor as being visible?
Mine is visible under certain angles during sunny days.
