Best Theme for Apex Launcher

Sup Yall. So right now I have 3 phones I am playing with and ultimately deciding to keep.

The Razr Maxx HD, the DNA and I just got the NOTE 2 yesterday.

(sorry for getting off on a tangent here)

I like all the phones for different reasons, but the Note 2 has me playing around with it more. I am not sure if the size and wow factor is drawing me to it. I downloaded Nova and Apex Launcher to customize the home screen. Anyone have any personal preference on the some themes? Right now I am using the Glass theme for Apex but I notice when I get a txt or another message the icon itself doesn't show anything - just up top in the notifications.

Any other folks have this isse? Any other folks have any other themes to recommend. I searched through play store and there are literally dozens.

I like the default apex theme, looks like stock that I had on the nexus. I got it for the increased functionality and to get away from the stock skin, not really for looks. Being able to backup the whole thing and move it to another device is a huge plus when you need it too.
