    Hi everyone,

Over the past few weeks I noticed my phone will randomly turn off. I don't the shutdown screen play when this happens.

I recently switched to no lock screen. While I don't think this is the issue, I'll put one back on in the mean time to see if that was the issue.

Do you mean the phone randomly powers down? It might be worth doing a system cache partition wipe, in case there's some temporary system data that is causing problems. No personal data will be lost. Follow these instructions for Wipe Cache Partition: Reset: Samsung Galaxy Note II | T-Mobile Support

I don't know if this will help you but I had a sIII once and it would do that all the time, I couldn't figure out why so I took it back to the store. A couple months ago I found out why it kept doing that and here's something you can check. Depending on when you purchased your phone, you can check to see if it's sudden death syndrome. Here's a link I found that will explain it fully:

Note 2 update: Sudden Death Syndrome - Roy Tanck's weblog

I hope this may provide some insight.
