Note 20 number port issue

Anyone know how to fix port issues? I have calls coming from one line and my texts use completely different number on the same phone

That is a carrier issue they need to make the changes.

I would try removing the SIM card, powering up the device, then powering down, replace the SIM card, and power back up. If that doesn't reach out to your carrier.

I've been on the phone with tmobile for past 2 days, they have no clue, keep doing stuff that doesn't work. It's been extremely frustrating as all hold times are anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
And on top of that yesterday my phone didn't work at all. Store rep keeps blaming 5G/4G network switching and told me to disable it because its useless and only creates issues.

I'm on unlocked Note 20U with Tmobile sim , haven't run into the issue with 5g/4g enable , have you tried to disable that ?

Maybe suggest having TMobile issue a new SIM ... I've done ports with them before and remember having to switch SIM on one occasion

Yes. It didn't work at the time. And nothing works to get my sms fixed. At home now and phone jumps from 4g 2 bars to 5g 5 bars

Good luck ... Hopefully a new one will solve it .. unless you have a phone issue ... Do you have another phone to test ?

Yes I am texting sms with another phone and its not working

Just notices that bank verification texts come to my number and texts from other phones don't arrive at all. I am now thinking maybe it has something to do with RSC

Try rebooting the phone afterwards, another thing try is go settings >general management >reset>reset network

Yes just confirmed, its RCS issue. Its RCS that work with different number

2 days with support. Now just fixed it. Had to disable and enable RCS

Get them to cancel the port, reset your line at the switch level which will restore your previoius assigned services and accent profile then redo the port.
