Curious if the unlocked on t-mobile still gets the new 5G Stand alone or do you have to load the Tmobile software.
I believe you will have to load the TMO Carrier version , but I'll wait for the OTA on the unlocked to find out
I'll wait before I flash the unlocked to verify, but that's some of the perks you get with carrier version vs unlocked. I mean I can still turn off 5G and use the other network mode LTE/3G/2gThats what I was thinking...thanks as always

I use US unlocked on T-Mobile and get 5G without issue. Who should you need the carrier version for that?I believe you will have to load the TMO Carrier version , but I'll wait for the OTA on the unlocked to find out

What is TMo stand alone? When TMo launched stand alone I know my OnePlus needed a software update for it to work, but Samsung's unlocked may already be configured for it. Not sure.
What is TMo stand alone?

My guess if you only want it on 5g no other network like lte/3g/2gWhat are the advantages of this?
