Any recommendations on wired headset with phone controls that works well with Android.

I am a wired headset kinda guy. While the stock iPhone 5/5S headphones are probably not suited for the audiophile types (which I am not), I really liked how well they worked with iOS. Volume, Pause, Double Click etc etc

Any equivalent for Android???

PS.. With Verizon. So no headset included.

Actually the Samsung headphones that are in the box are pretty good. (I hope they are in the box on Verizon). I use Bluetooth myself.
It depends on how much you want to spend.
