Frontfacing Camera - Disable "Beautify" mode?

Am I the only one who finds the fact that the front facing camera defaults to "Beautify" mode, ridiculous?

Fair enough, I can understand the thoughts behind it, but is it possible to just have it default to auto mode instead?

I've spent quite a bit of time trying to find a setting, but to no avail.

I hate that too. I wouldn't mind if they had the option available for people that like it, but to have a fake airbrushed type photo mode as unchangeable default was a bad decision. Sometimes I forget to change the mode and wind up with these plastic looking photos. You'll have to download a different camera app to avoid it. Pretty much any camera app other than stock.

If you need a suggestion, take a look at ProCapture. Another good app, but doesn't have the front facing camera last time I checked, is Camera FV-5.

Yeah, I'm aware of the other camera apps...

Don't know, I just find that the default camera app tends to be perfect in every respect, other than that damned beautify feature.

Ridiculous... Will just have to live with it I guess
