Samsung themes not showing todays date on icon

So with the stock touchwiz theme, the calendar icon shows the appropriate date on it(todays). If I change it to any of the other themes I have from the theme store, the cal icon shows 31, and one (vanilla theme) shows 17.

So I'm new to samsung themes, did search on this, didn't find if this is normal or not....any guidance?

None of the ruggedness work on the calendar date. I hate that too

I never really noticed this until I read this here. I like using themes better though because they help hide the inconsistencies with the different sized app icons. They really look ugly on the stock theme.

The theme I have shows 7, I'd have never noticed that

I am using "a starlite night".

Searching for starlite night doesn't turn up anything but I see your calendar icon shows the 31st instead of todays date as well.

Oh the calender icon? I thought you meant what was displayed....it has March 7 today's date. Many icons for date have 31 on the calender. My iPad did for years till the last update.

Edit....and mine is a starlit night... I added an extra letter above....sorry.
