Note 7 now banned on Amtrak

I was on Amtrak just yesterday for a biz trip. When I bought my tickets on Monday their site said something about it should be powered down, but not banned. This is new. I guess I'm in even more a rush now to have to find a replacement as I'll be taking the train again in a week or 2, then have a flight in December, so will have to have something else by then. Currently have no backup phone and Verizon is screwing customers by requiring 100% paid on new devices now, instead of 50% like on the n7, so a big decision...

I just called Samsung because the Note 5 64gb version is back ordered on Verizon to the middle of December. They said to call back on Monday (they opened a ticket for me) because there will be an exchange program in place to help people replace their devices.
