Samsung has probably done a good job at balancing their inventory and they don't need to offer any deals. I have not seen Samsung offer great deals recently on last years models when a new release comes out.

I've worked retail and Verizon for 4 years. Most stores let inventory decline and sell out before the new model comes. Unless Samsung is sitting on a bunch of them still it won't happen.

Personally never seen last gen Samsung phones get clearanced out or sold cheaper than the deals on a new phone.

I got my Note 9 a year ago for $600, I jumped on a deal when it was available.
