    Cant say all features work but I much prefer the thicker S3 stylus. My fingers and hand gets cramped. With the thinner s-pen.

    Tapping spacebar with S3 requires double-tap sometimes to get single space or I'm too light in my touch.

    S-Pen stopped responding. No low battery alert. It showed Disconnected in Settings. Leaving it inside to charge or reconnect didnt help. Ultimately had to restart to get it back.

    Which leads me to ask Why isn't there a display in settings or somewhere to show battery status?

    There is... if you go to the S-Pen Settings and tap on the S Pen Remote, you'll get a display with the available battery.

    Also, any S-Pen will work with other S-Pen-capable devices (you just lose on additional features like the BT controls or added sensitivity levels if you use, say, an older one with a new device). At some point even MS Surface devices worked with S-Pens because they both use Wacom's tech.
