Why does the 1x1 crop option not stay square?

[Android Central Question]

When editing photos on my S10e, I choose the 1x1 option, but when I pull the corner to make the crop smaller/larger, it is no longer perfectly square. It is only ever off by about 2 to 5 pixels or so, but it us just so annoying.

Which photo editing app are you using?

I'm using the built in Samsung Gallery editor.
