Here is the picture:

The phone model is Samsung Galaxy SII I9100
The usb connector label is: R.C15 GT-I9100 REV2.3

There a bunch of "GT-I9100 REV2.3 R.C43 46" parts in Ebay, all of them shamelessly generic, the metal parts look extremely cheap.

Is it safe to buy this, have you done this yourself.

Original parts are extremely expensive in Ebay.

That's the part. Have I done it? Yes, I owned cellphone shops and repaired many phones. Should you do it? If you're experienced in working inside cellphones. Otherwise you could cause a problem while you're replacing the board, costing you more money to fix that problem. While fixing that you could cause more problems, etc.

And once you've worked on the phone, very few shops will work on it unless you pay them to check the entire phone, or accept that even if they replace the part you tell them to replace, the phone may not work.

It's normally cheaper to pay a shop to fix the phone.
