[Guide] How to flash ICS on a Stock LTE Xoom

I don't know if anyone has noticed, but you can get the latest version of their ICS build from that website I linked in the first post. It is really simple to install, infact they have even made it an upgradeable build. you simply put a MicroSD card in with only the zip file on it, hold down your power button and select boot into recovery.

When in recovery, do not wipe anything, but simply go to install from zip, choose zip from SD card, and pick the latest file. Everything should update and be just fine.

Enjoy!

I'm putting this out there for all those who are looking at this post still and reading through it... You can in fact use a LOT of the nightly builds that are out there from Team EOS. They will actually NOT wipe your Xoom and will actually act just like an update and load and stuff like that.

Right now, when I get an update from Team EOS, I download it, then I tell my Xoom to flash it, and it does it all for me. Then, I wait for about 5 or 10 minutes at most and I'm fully updated and continuing to play fun games. Just putting it out there.

I am on nightly 85 or 89... I can't remember and I killed my battery playing Bloons TD4 (which we all need... NEED) or I would look. Either way, it's the latest and it is running really really smooth.

Good luck, don't be afraid to PM me or something, I am subscribed to the post, so if you respond in here I get an email and I can come help you with my experiences. I'm not the one making this stuff still, I just figure it out and make my Xoom extra cool because of it.

And, if VZW can't get us a good build, then let the Devs at TEAM EOS make some good stuff for FREE and enjoy what you can.

So everything went pretty smoothly. Nice guide write up. Got to the last part and rebooted. Goes to shimmering ANDROID and then hangs there. Left it overnight just to see. Battery died still not updated. Any ideas? I think I will go over everything again and see if the end result changes.

I have a question on the Java SDK. When I click on the provided link, it takes me to the Java website.

There are a lot of files to download, but I do not see one that says SDK. Help please?
