so ive been wondering whats good about my S20 Ultra(12/128 Exynos) and for me PERSONALLY the only "good" things are the speakers and speed. The rest is mediocre...the camera is rubbish...

Taking photos indoor is a mess. Outdoor is always good AS LONG AS there is enough light.

So what you guys think of your S20 series?

The premium feel of the Ultra, the screen size, beautiful display, speed, best phone camera I've ever used and best battery ever.

I have the s20 plus and I love the camera on my phone and battery last me all day. I've always been able to take great pics

I had the S20 Ultra but ultimately returned it. I loved the battery life, I could use it all day and still be at 60% around bedtime. I also use lightroom mobile a lot and the RAM made editing photos a breeze with no lag. Having said that, the camera was terrible. Absolutely terrible. That was in March before the updates. My gf still has her S20 Ultra with all the updates and imo, it's still terrible. She thought so too so she went with an iPhone 11 and I went with a pixel 4xl.

I really like the design of the S20. The 120 hz display finally rivals the smoothness of iPhones. With Samsung Dex, secure folder, one UI, Samsung pay. They really built a solid ecosystem on Android. Too bad alot of people didn't buy the s20 lol.

I was an LG guy before this and I never cared for the Samsung devices with a home button. This one didn't have it, the specs were great, the camera blew me away (photographer who loved the UI for the LG G6 camera but the picture quality was meh). One of the biggest features for me was a battery that I can't seem to kill in a day no matter what I do with my phone. THAT is one of the biggest selling points for me as it's not uncommon for me to be out on hikes from sun up to sundown and the last thing I want to have to do is baby my battery to get through the day.

I went all in... aura blue S20+, aura blue Galaxy Buds+ and the Active 2 watch. In for a dime, in for a dollar this time. I'm actually REALLY impressed with how well all of the devices play together.

While I do like the 120hz display, it's often at 60 or 96 because the battery hit isn't worth it to me if I'm speaking frankly.

How does the camera compare to the iPhone 11 and the Pixel 4XL?

I have an S20. I love the size, much easier to handle than my 4XL and the screen being mostly flat again I was ok with the slightly curved edge. I also like the big battery, the camera is more versatile, is very solid and plenty capable for my needs. I really missed how much a wide angle lense adds and the telephoto lense is nice too and is useful up to a point.

I had Samsung phones up to the S7 and that was my last one till now. I loved the minimalism of the pixels the last few years but it always felt like there were a few things missing and the S20 has delivered a lot of those things without going overboard for me. There's features other phones don't have that I really like. Yeah there's some extra but it's easy to hide or ignore.

The S20 is fast and fluid and has been actually refreshing to use. It has battery and tons of RAM and plenty of power. I actually like DeX, it works well and has some use cases. I like the side panels, some of them, I'm using Nova launcher and the old button navigation the way Samsung always has done it and to me, the back arrow should be on the right, I use "back" far more than I've ever used the "recents" button.

I'm just super thrilled with the whole package for the most part. It's been awhile since I have been this satisfied with a phone purchase.

The 4XL doesn't have a wide angle lense?

S20 here.

I love the size!!!

Coming from a Note 9 it feels good to have a smaller (and lighter) phone again. Fits in the pocket so well and so easy to hold.

Also love the HUGE improvement in camera and picture quality.

And I love the 120hz screen the most. Wont ever be able to go back to 60hz, to jarring.

I got the S20 ultra preordered then moved to the N20 ultra and the camera performance is muuuch better and the device is very zippy fast with the Snapdragon SOC. The SPen is really a joy to use as well. These are the 3main things I noticed right away in comparison.

Indonesia always get the Exynos version... And N20U top tier is the 8/512 in Indonesia... Whereas the S20U comes with 12/128... Its more RAM or ROM i guess... Stupid Samsung Indonesia.

The S20 was over saturated and over sharpened. The iPhone 11 and even my pixel 4xl seem more natural. Focus is soooo much better on both phones compared to the S20 Ultra too.

I like the hardware. I haven't held one in the hand yet and so I can't attest to the hardware too much but it looks like a phone that was well-designed.

well, its a good phone other than some users facing the focus issue.but overall its a solid device...the speakers arent as loud as the Rogphone 2/3 but they are still loud. the screen is super sharp.battery life for me personally is kinda trash(5 hours SOT/Exynos version)

I've heard great things about its display! I've also heard a mixed bag of reactions and reviews about the camera.
