https://blog.pocketstop.com/the-differences-between-sms-mms-imessage-and-rcsWhats the difference between Rcs and mms??
If you have unlocked version no rcs for stock Samsung messages only carrier versions. So i use google for rcsAre you using the stock Samsung messages or Google messages to get RCS?
Hopefully one dayYeah I was asking because I also use Google for RCS, was hoping Samsung was supporting it now also.
Hopefully one day![]()
Hi, most likely , each carrier has their own version of rcs so makes sense tmobile and sprint would work as they merged .My friend is using rcs on Samsung app on tmobile to text me.. I have sprint... I guess since they merged that's why it works
It sounds like you have the T-Mobile (USA) in-house RCS service that they have been trying to push. See... Advanced Messaging vs Universal Profile 1.0 unlike the Google Messages which does not rely on carriers and is available worldwide, the TMO version needs other carriers to support it, which does not seem likely when Google Messages is readily available. My friend is using rcs on Samsung app on tmobile to text me..
