Note taking app

Ok, so my wife feels I can benefit from an app so I'll quit forgetting things. Yada, yada and yada. Anyway. In Play Store the highest rated one is Notepad but several of the more recent reviews give it bad marks. I hesitate downloading apps as I see things come out showing they are apps that should have never made it to the Play Store. Any suggestions on one to use?

EDIT: I no sooner sent this when I found Samsung Notes on my phone. Good app?

Google Keep all the way. It's easy, it syncs to your Google account immediately, and it's available across pretty much any platform. (And it's free, of course.)

If you use Microsoft Swiftkey on your Android phone, you are able to copy/paste clipboard between your phone and your Windows PC. https://support.swiftkey.com/hc/en-...te-text-between-SwiftKey-Keyboard-and-Windows

That's something else that may be useful to you for note taking in any Android app you use on your phone.

I also use Google Keep. Works great on my Galaxy Watch also. It's easy to share Notes with others.

I use Samsung Notes.

It syncs to all my Samsung devices. So if I make a new note on my Tab s6, it will sync to my S22U & my N20U. I like the ability to setup the categories & color code them. I also use my spen to handwrite notes. I cute & paste excerpts from the internet or even here at the forums for future reference.

Lots of uses & features. It's worth a try...

I don't use a PC product. Apple Macbook Pro and an Android Phone. Go figure.
