That might not work... Verizon removed some holes in their build with the latest patch... this might not work.

***EDIT: Sorry, I thought this was Verizon's forum.

I attempted the root method in the link given and this is what happens

[*] Rooting phone...
[+] This may take a few minutes.
[-] Failure.
[*] Cleaning up...
[*] Exploit complete. Press enter to reboot and exit.

upon reboot I see the superuser app, however it does not work and titanium backup still says no root access on the device.

this might have worked, looking over titanium now

I was able to root and also get goom going as well. thanks

Just a word of caution about cf auto root. It does not restore the stock recovery of the i9505g but instead restores recovery for the i9505. What this means is that the next time you try to flash an ota update after using cf auto root, it'll fail with a cryptic error 7. To fix it you'll need to flash the proper recovery back to your phone.
