Geeze,,, not even one reply/answer on my thread question.

Does this mean that importing video into my iPad taken with a GS4 is not possible ?

And does this mean I will have to dump my much loved GS4 and switch back to the iPhone :(

So far everything I have tried has not worked.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers

I'd imagine that you would need to connect your phone to your computer and transfer the videos to the computer. I don't know what format they will be in, so you may have to convert them to mp4 format and then add them to iTunes and sync your iPad to iTunes. You could also try uploading them to a cloud storage like drop box and then getting them on your iPad via drop box.

I suspect you haven't gotten a lot of replies because most folks stick with either iOS or Android. There's quiet a few different video formats, and not having an iPad, I have no idea what format they use (or even how you go about importing ... can you just use a USB port?).

You might want to check out the program Handbrake, a well known and free video converter. I imagine you probably need to download the video to a PC (or Mac), do a conversion, and then upload to your iPad.
