verizon cdma to gsm

im going to buy a galaxy s4 (4g lte) verizon . the only problem is that im in tunisia so theres no cdma networks (gsm only )
my country networks are tunisiana (changed its name 2 weeks ago into ooredoo) tunisie telecom and orange
should i buy the phone and how to turn it into a gsm phone with 3g access so taht i can use one of those networks

here are the 3G frequencies:

850 Cellular / band 5 (V) Americas, Oceania, Brazil, Israel
1900 PCS / band 2 (II) Americas
2100 IMT / band 1 (I) Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania, Brazil, India, Israel

If that's what ooredoo uses, you should be fine. Just stick in the SIM card and see what happens. You may have to manually set up data/SMS/MMS

ooredoo (or tunisiana) uses 2 bands for 3g 900 and 2100 (2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 900 / 2100
HSDPA 850 / 1900 or HSDPA 850 / 2100 source : THD - THD its in fench)

and orange uses i guess something between 1900 and 2200 for 3g

tunise telecom 900-800-2100 i guess (or 900-2100)
so i dont know .what do you think ?will gsm work ?and 3g too? and how to manually set data-sms-mms

I wouldn't chance it. Verizon locks down their phones a lot, plus it's primarily a cdma phone, with gsm included for roaming more than for sticking foreign sim cards.
