Hello, I am planning to upgrade to a Samsung Galaxy S10+. I am currently on Verizon, though I am moving internationally (to New Zealand) in 4 months, so I'm not sure if I should get a GSM or CDMA phone.
I want to be able to use the phone now, and obviously still be able to use it once I move. So if I get a Verizon CDMA phone, will it still have GSM capabilities? Will it be limited in its capabilities or work just as well as another carrier? If I get a GSM phone now, will that work at all on Verizon?
I know I'm going to have to get a new carrier and SIM once I move abroad and know that the S10+ has a SIM slot so that shouldn't be an issue, so I'm basically just confused as to which type would be best for me...or if I should just wait to buy a new phone when I'm going to move and just get GSM then. Thanks for your help
