Hi I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 that I did not have a sim card for and it got thrown against a wall. It will not turn on or charge. I already tried plugging a USB cord from the phone to my laptop and nothing happened. How can I get my photos back? If I take the phone to an ATT store could they help me?

Welcome to Android Central! Have you already tried a new battery? If it doesn't turn on with a new battery, then there is probably significant internal damage to the motherboard. The photos are probably lost. There might be forensic data recovery specialists who could retrieve data, but that could cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

Google Photos Auto Backup is pretty awesome--consider turning it on in the future, to protect from mishaps like this.
