Welcome back! I see that you also forgot your password back in 2012 for a different device. Since this is a recurring issue, I would suggest writing your passwords down on a piece of paper and keeping it somewhere secure, like in a safe at home.

What kind of guidance are you looking for? If you do a hard reset, you'll have to enter the username and password for the Google account that was on that phone--it's a new antitheft measure from Google (Factory Reset Protection).

Using microSD cards is simple--just get a new one and insert it. Remember that it is primarily useful for media storage (like photos, videos, and music). You can usually move a portion of an app to the SD card, but never the whole thing, and not all apps can be moved to SD, so don't expect it to dramatically increase your app storage.
