    I have Galaxy s4 with android 4.4.2
    I get notifications that files are downloaded.
    When I press the notification the main screen appear and there is no indication which application is doing the download.
    The message appear for a long time

    I think you need to perform a hard reset on your device as it might been infected with some virus.

    Also, what happens if you long press on that download notification? Can you get more information about the app sending it?
