Try out Nova Launcher. I haven't tried any other ones yet so can't comment on them.

Thanks man...took me some time to get right.

I wish the stamped black icons were a bit better though. App drawer is a mess because there is no masking.

For me, icons really make a theme. When the app icons look like trash, then the whole theme looks bad.

I'm currently using this icon set:
