Camera Blurry?

Both my wife and I have the Galaxy S5. My wife's camera performs great but mine fails to focus almost every time. For example, if I attempt to read a barcode with my wife's phone it's crystal clear but my phone "auto focuses" and goes blurry. It's actually clear for half a second but then it auto focuses back to blurry. Shots from further back are hit or miss. The camera takes several seconds to focus and half the time it's blurry when it does take.

I've turned picture stabilization off and yes I've peeled off the protective sticker. Is my camera bad? I'm bummed as I always thought the Camera was just mediocre. Any thoughts? Thanks!

EDIT: I've gone through all camera settings and made sure ours were the same. Such a bummer that I can't use my phone to scan barcodes. Strange problem...

EDIT2: Well shoot, the thread under mine at this time is the same problem.

EDIT3: If it matters I'm still on NCG.

It might be a defective camera. The lens is totally clean, right? Can you see any debris or dust trapped inside the lens glass?

As a general troubleshooting step, try booting into Recovery Mode and wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data: Reset: Samsung Galaxy S 5 | T-Mobile Support. If that doesn't help, it might be time to contact Samsung for warranty repair/replacement.
