My Galaxy S5 now has Lollipop notifications...

I own a Nexus 7 2012 tablet and a Galaxy S5 phone. Yesterday, I updated my Nexus to the manual factory image of 5.0 Lollipop (which is very nice!).

Today I noticed something interesting. After updating my Nexus 7 to Lollipop, now all of a sudden my Galaxy S5 has the notification feature found in Lollipop.





Seeing as my phone never went through any update process (unless a Google service did in the background) and I'm still running KitKat 4.4.2 via AT&T, I'm shocked my Galaxy S5 is doing this now. Very happy about that!

Hate burst your bubble, but that is a new feature of the Facebook app and nothing to do with lollipop.

However, I'm really looking forward to pop-up notifications from all apps once we get L. I personally love the concept. The Facebook pop-ups are a cool preview of what's coming.

My Facebook is updated and my s5 doesn't do what his does. Are you sure?
