How do I upload all of the photos on my Galaxy S5 to my iMac all at one time?

A

AC Question

how do I upload all of the photos on my GalaxyS5 to my IMac all at one time?

I have a lot of photos on my S5 phone and I want to upload them all to my IMac without
having to do it one by one. I have been emailing them to myself, but it is taking forever.

Connect the phone to the iMac. Find the top level folder in the phone that all the pictures are in. Copy the folder. Go do something for a few hours. (Don't use a USB hub - they usually overheat and fail under such sustained data transfer.)

Sorry Rukbat,

This maybe true for rooted phones(?), but not normally.

Many - incl. me - have lot of problems to get a decent connection from the Mac (also PC) to the Android Samsung Galaxy (S5).

Not even KIES is working, cannot establish a connection - ya - it did work a once in the past.

This with Debugging / Developer Options enabled.

These day we're using AirDroid, but if there are better ways, I'd like to know...
