Stock Weather Widget displays as regular clock?

Ever since I turned off Auto Sync on my Galaxy S5, the clock displayed on my home screen is just the simple clock as opposed to the weather widget. When I hold down the clock and drag to remove then hold my finger down where I'd like to place the stock weather widget and try to place it, it simply shows on my screen as the regular stock clock widget. My location is turned on, so I don't understand why this is happening! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
