Hello everyone.

Recently, my Galaxy S5 with Marshmallow OS has this issue: When I put a video to play on the phone's regular media player, the video plays with no problem, but when I tap the screen to show the controls (play/pause button, seek bar, etc.) they don't show. I also had the function to change volume and screen brightness by swiping the right and left edges of the screen, but those don't work either.

If I use the (physical) volume keys, I can control the volume, and if I use the (physical) block button to lock the video, and then again to unlock it, the media controls appear for a couple of seconds so that's what I've been doing for the time being, but it's really annoying that, without recent software updates, without having installed any new app, just because, the media player controls stopped appearing by tapping the screen.

What can I do?

Thanks.
