I Am wanting to somehow get all text messages between myself and one other person onto my computer so I can cut and paste and edit and all those sorts of things. There is a huge amount of text messages and if I were to copy and paste and then email it I would be dead from old age before the task was complete.. If anyone has any ideas I really would appreciate being able to complete this task before I turn my toes up. Thank you very very much.

I tried to create an account for this site but oh my God, I was unable to so I have a rather unused email address which is [email address redacted by Mod] otherwise I don't know how I can check if someone has an answer for my question.. Thank you again. sorry, I forgot I have a Samsung Galaxy S5

I've used an app called "Super Backup" that can email a backup copy of your Text data. The format for the backup is "xml" that can be opened with MS Excel. Under Excel, you can sort easily and copy.

You don't have to log in to check your thread on forums... hope this helps.
