Syncing Facebook Contacts

Hi All, I have my S6 Edge+ I have set it up but cannot get Facebook to sync with my contacts?
If I go to settings/accounts/ click on Facebook it shows my gmail account name and underneath "Sync disabled" if I click on the "Sync with your device" underneath that the box is ticked.
Am I doing something wrong or is this the same for everybody?
Has any clever sole managed to find a workaround if this is the case?

Facebook removed the option to sync contacts awhile ago.

There are apps you can download that will sync for you
