I used to use the CM variant of the stock AOSP browser because it performed better on my older phone (GNEX), but at this point I can't see a reason to use anything besides Chrome unless I felt the need for Flash since on newer hardware it performs quite well.
I use 3. My main browser is Firefox because I got sick and tired of the blank page loads on Chrome that have been plaguing me for at least a full year. Chrome is now just a back-up browser in case a certain website is more compatible with Chrome than FF. My 3rd browser I actually use a lot for page links within other apps and I love it because it revolutionizes the multitasking flow on my phone. It's called Flynx and it's similar to Chris lacy's Link Bubble app except it's faster and fewer bugs
I have tried all firefox, chrome, opera and their beta versions, but imo stock use much less battery compare to others.
I would love to use firefox so it sync with my desktop but battery drain is too high.
Here is sample screenshot with gsam app, reset the stats and visit the same site on all browser. See firefox is on top.

why not test for longer than 1 minute?
btw, app sucker data also is only part of the picture, it only counts cpu related battery consumption. With black background addon, firefox also reduces the battery consumed by screen, and we all know thats like half of the battery consumption of the phone for most people.

Is the stock version you are talking about Chrome? I've seen elsewhere people mention the stock browers, I liked that much better on my S4 than the chrome browser.
I don't like using Chrome because it doesn't have bookmarks. I use 3 mainly. Mercury for desktop mods because it has Adblock and quick access to reader. I use Boat for mobile sites because I can set a bookmark icon on the bottom and get quick access to mobile sites and I use chrome for links and sites it works best with.
I'm confused - what do you mean Chrome doesn't have bookmarks? There's a bookmark selection in the menu.
I use Chrome as my default browser and Maxthon for sites that work better in desktop mode. I make browser shortcuts to the homescreen and have the ones I frequently use in a homescreen folder. It's great that Android let's you create a homescreen shortcut that will open in a specific browser.
I always used the stock browser on my old HTC DNA, but have been leaning towards Firefox when I pick up an S6 hopefully in the next week. I quit using chrome on my desktop at work due to being forced to do all searches in the address bar and I can't make chrome work at all on a Windows 8/8.1 laptop.

I should say there is no easy access to bookmarks. You have to tap the menu, open the bookmarks tab, and select the bookmark. With the menu key up top it is not a one hand friendly application at all. The other browsers all have the ability to quickly access bookmarks with a reachable one touch.
Stock browser (labeled Internet in the app drawer with a blue, purple, and white globe icon). Scrolling in Chrome is jerky as hell on this phone for some reason.

That's actually the reason I miss the menu key. On the S5, I'd long press recent apps for menu and then tap Save to Pocket. Now it requires two hands or manual gymnastics that I'm not comfortable doing with the S6 due to its lack of grip.

This is for the S6 right? Maybe I am missing something but I can't find it. I don't see it in the "tools" app folder or the "Samsung" app folder.

Yep, for the S6. I don't think it was in a folder, just in the app drawer by itself. Which carrier version do you have? Maybe they removed it.
You can see it on this picture from The Verge review in the dock between the Messages app and app drawer. Pretty sure I have seen it on the international, AT&T, and T-Mobile versions at least. https://cdn2.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/mPW...laxys6-9.0.png
