Red notification light flashing without reason

So I've had this phone short of a week, and I love it.

For some reason today, my S6 will randomly blink a red LED notification, but when I unlock my phone, there are no new notifications.

My first 2 thoughts were low battery indicator or no service indicator, but neither is the reason.

Anyone else experiencing this?

It's Probably the battery saver mode, check that setting.

I have the same issue. I didn't see it until today (had it for a week). I have the AT&T model, which I think is the same as yours. My battery was above 40 and I turned off power saving mode and it was still flashing. Restarting didn't fix it.

Go into battery saver mode, turn it on, adjust the "start power saver mode" percentage to 5%, thenturn the power save mode back off (unless you want it on). This fixes that issue, for some reason even with power save mode off it still blinks at whatever % you set it to.

I LOVE MY NEW SAMSUNG S7! I don't want to use it yet though, I've still got until December with my mobile contract on aniPhone! I could switch the SIM into the Android's slot, would that be okay?

yes its hacked. look in u tx msg settings. it show u link from recieved texts. and check ur internet setting . look where u set up ur ios, imei . this **** scam auto connected and now can just controll ur device. so b shure there is only one. especially if ur device is used or reconditioned. please watch out and disable lock key . its also malishous.
