How do I move apps on my S6?

Moving Apps on my S6

So far, I have had nothing but problems since I upgraded from S3 to S6. I am going through the tedious job of redownloading my S3 apps. Several are duplicated on my Home Screen. I don't want them there, but I can't move them. Apps were easy to move on the S3. Is this a problem with the S6, or has the method of moving apps changed? There is nothing in the User Manual to help. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

To move them, you touch and hold. Not sure how it could be any easier.

Yes, I know. It works on S3 like a charm. On S6 they will not budge. Thought there must be another way. Then on 10th try one did move. Others still holding firm. Thank you. Will keep at it, although tough on finger tip.

The behavior you're describing is not normal -- you should easily be able to drag and move icons. Some users have reported screen sensitivity issues, and a few have noted that this procedure solved their problems. If that doesn't work for you I'd strongly consider exchanging your S6 for another.
