How do I get my galaxy s6 phone to let me sign in to Google

Trying to switch my service from my old phone to my Galaxy s6 and my Galaxy s6 not accepting my Google account I have had the phone on about 6 months ago and I'm tryn to switch my number back and the phone won't accept my Google password it keeps going back to the sign in screen

it may be an authentication error. Try to log in from a desktop computer then the phone just to verify the password is correct.

To better help with your issue is it possible for you to send as a couple of screenshots of the problem. I assume your phone is working and you are able to access other applications, but haven't been able to activate your Google account to use it's services.
