Alternative to iTunes podcasts

Love my podcasts on my iPhones so what good options are there for stuff like this on android? Podcasts is why I will always use my iPhone even with the S7 edge

I listen to several podcasts on daily basis. I use Pocket Casts for all my Android phones.

There are many Podcast apps on Android, but I tend to stick with works well for me.

So Pocket Casts is an automatic download when I get a new phone.

There is an app called LucidPod on Google Play. It allows you to search and subscribe to iTunes podcasts. Also it is just a very nice app. Lightweight, snappy, easy to use UI. Most other podcast apps just too complex for me

I haven't. I bought PocketCasts with Google credit and pretty much use that exclusively. I have been testing out GPM for Podcasts since they added that recently.

Multi device sync.
Great selection.

I've used many of the available podcast apps. DoggCatcher was my favorite for a long time but I went looking for another app when I noticed features other apps had that Doggcatcher didn't. I listen almost exclusively in my car; Pocketcasts did not function they way I needed to be able to use it in my car. I find BeyondPod to be the best for me and my usage case.
