So, I like when my phone goes into DND when i'm driving. I'm usually listening to podcasts, and it's rather annoying when I get email and other notifications interrupting it. I'd prefer if while I'm driving it stays silent for notifications without me having to go in and shut them off/silence them.
HOWEVER, the Driving Mode really doesn't seem to work that well. When I go into the DND settings and into the Schedules, the Driving doesn't actually show in the list, so I add more, and tap on the Driving option, which brings me to the 'Silence Notifications while driving'. It will work for a few trips, and then I'll start getting notifications while driving again and have to rinse and repeat. I've gone into my bluetooth devices, and made sure that the connection to my vehicle is listed as a car audio, but that hasn't changed anything.
Strangely, I've also noticed at times when I'm at my office at work with the phone on my desk that it will randomly turn on the Do Not Disturb, and when I go into the DND settings it says that the Driving Mode is on, even though I'm not connected to any bluetooth aside from my watch or moving at all.
If anybody can give me some tips on how to make it more reliable or just go into DND as soon as it connects to my car Bluetooth, that would be fantastic.
