Groupchat Message Notification

Is there a way that I can be notified on the notification display dropdown that the message I just received was part of a group chat? The only way I know the message received is part of a group chat is if I open the actual message in the messages app. However, sometimes I respond directly from the notification drop-down and have accidentally shared private/personal information because I thought the person I was responding to was part of our individual message and not the group chat. On the notification bar it only says the persons name that you are receiving the message from, so it looks just like a regular message. I've tried to name the group chat, But there is no option to do that.
