Is the clear view standing cover for s8+ waterproof? Is it fine to use it in the rain

Hello. I've bought the galaxy s8 plus and the clear view standing cover and my question is the cover waterproof? I mean do I have to worry when I use the phone with the cover on in the rain?

The galaxy S8 itself is "Water & Dust Resistant, IP68, *Water resistant up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes."

Due to this, it should be fine in the rain regardless of the cover.
