So we don't have a physical home button, then how to go into the recovery menu to wipe the cache partition now?

Nevermind, I'm an ***** for not searching for this myself.......

    Here it is:

    1. Make sure you turn off the device.
    2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.
    3. When the green Android logo displays, release all keys (‘Installing system update’ will show for about 30 – 60 seconds before showing the Android system recovery menu options).
    4. Press the Volume down key several times in order to highlight “Wipe cache partition.”
    5. Press the Power key to select.
    6. Press the Volume down key to highlight “Yes” and press the Power key to select.
    7. After the wipe cache partition is complete, “Reboot system now” is highlighted.
    8. Press the Power key to restart the device.

Well it is recommended you do a wipe for the cache partition after an OS update or what I do I do it every 2 weeks, it brings back the snappiness of the phone as the old useless cache is deleted. Your data is intact and all apps work just like they did before.

Only do this if you feel your phone is laggy or after an OS update. 0 data loss it's just the old cached garbage that's deleted

for the record, cache is not garbage information. All deleting a cache does is force the phone to rebuild the cache.

It might help if you're phone is acting flakey. A lot of strange problems can be fixed by wiping the cache partition. It's easy and non destructive. Worth a try if you are having issues. I only wipe it if I'm having an issue or after an update normally.
