Sprint Galaxy S8 Can you changed the layout of the Samsung Music player

I remember when I had my S6, when you downloaded the themes, not only did it changed how phone looked, but some themes also changed the layout of the music player which I loved. But now since the Marshmallow update, the music players always has the same generic static background with no way of customizing it at all. I want to know if you can customize the layout and background like you can on Lollipop.
