Currently installing Pie update on Sprint.




It's installed and it's like a just got a brand new phone for free. Faster then it's ever been, dam even Bixby is a joy to use now. So glad I held off buying the S10 Plus. Loving my S8 Plus again. WOW

I got the update with AT&T.

All S8 devices are supposed to get the update. When they get them is anyone's guess. Some already have it, and it could probably be 3 to 4 months for others.

Our two unlocked Galaxy S8+ T-Mobile phones we have updated overnight. So, we woke up to Android Pie on our phones on 1 Apr 2019.

How do you like it so far? Does it make a large difference intermixed with Samsungs UI? I've had Pie on a couple previous devices but both were Android One devices so their OS was basically stock android so they didnt really have hardly a skin at all that Pie had to integrate with. Samsung however has quite the Skin so I was curious how Pie meshed with Samsungs Skin? Congrats on receiving your update!

I like it a lot. It's a very fresh modern look and seems very smooth. All I've ever had is Samsung device's but it seems like it meshes well.

My AT&T S8 updated on Sunday. Looks great but running slow as molasses. Sometimes times out waiting for a page to load. Anybody else having this issue? Any suggestions?

I think battery life is much improved too. Usually by now I'm down to around 20% currently sitting at 47% without battery saver.

Dont think Verizon has even started rolling it out, so for those of us in the US on VZW, it's probably going to take quite a while. Wouldn't shock me a bit if it takes till may or June.

I also got the update. Unfortunately, I put a Galaxy theme on my phone and now can't use the new dark theme. I know how to delete it, so I tried. But, when it said delete... It deleted the word 'delete'! Now I have no way to get rid of it. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks!

Just received it today on Xfinity Mobile. Xfinity runs on the Verizon network so I assume those of you having the S8 and S8+ on Verizon should be getting it also.

i have an S8 unlocked running on Verizon...does that mean I need to wait until Verizon rolls it out? Or can I download it separately somehow?
