I recently received a new Samsung Galaxy S8. After setup, I tried accessing my children's security camera. I was able to connect to my wifi with no error. After opening the IPcam ap on my phone, I could not access the camera.

Wifi setting indicated I was connected, however, the router did not show my phone as a listed device. My phone did not show the normal IP of 192.168.x.x rather 10.23.x.x With some searching through the router Access Control, I found my phones MAC address listed, along with the IP address my phone displayed.

I found that my router was enabled to use a Dynamic DNS service, which was causing the issue with the wrong IP being assigned. Which ultimately blocked my access to any home wifi devices. Once I disabled the Dynamic DNS on my router (I no longer had the need for this service - otherwise I could have logged on to DNS service and adjusted settings) I was able to obtain an IP address the resembled 192.168.x.x and access all wifi devices.
