Galaxy s9+?

In the past I had a Galaxy S1 ,S3 and Note 4. I was going to upgrade to the Note 7 but we all know how that ended so I ended up getting an iPhone 7 Plus. My contract runs out in September and I want to make the switch back to Android as I cant stand iOS. will it be worth me upgrading to the Galaxy S9 Plus coming from a iPhone 7 Plus? Or should I hold off until next year. I have had a play around with one in store and they seem really nice. I would just like some help from every day users.

Any advice would be great.

In my personal opinion, I'd get the Note 9 in September vs the S9+. The Note 9 will have the updated fingerprint sensor location and the same great cameras as the S9+, but they might be slightly better. Of course the Note 9 will cost a bit more than the S9+ at that point so it's up to you what you're looking for in a device and how much you're willing to spend.

if u really need the the S pen wait for Note 9...otherwise S9+ is the best phone out there....I switched from Note 8 to S9+

Note 8, S9+, or Note 9. With any of these you'll get a great phone but be aware that the battery life, typically, on the iPhone 7+ is better than on the Samsung phones.

You can also hold off and see how the Pixel 3 pans out.
